Fertilizer is a song written by Abby Jayne Spades, a music student of Samford School of the Arts. In the song, Abby Jayne sings about her personal testimony of growing up into the individual she has and is becoming. She sings about the significance of hope and how hope within trials shapes you into who you’re supposed to be.

I designed an album cover as well as packaging for this single. The song uses imagery of vines to symbolize the growth, so that is a major element of the design. I also included AJ’s own handwriting in the packaging to mimic the personal experience she creates through the lyrics she sings
